First run of the season!
well, finally had the first run of the season with Rehab6. a mothers day special. Baby back ribs and ABT’s. was a bit of an uphill battle with a few points, but came out great. going to post a couple items about the day.
Shot of preparing the ribs on this great day! below are a few additional shots from the day. I also tried a new wood, Mojobricks. they worked great! I am hooked on them. they produced great flavor, lasted a good length of time, I can’t say enough about them.
Everyone that tried the ribs fell in love with them, quite tender, not too heavy a smoky flavor, best I had ever smoked on the pit.
The sauce I made was a St Louis sauce, not too hot, and worked out quite well. add the ABT’s and a delicious day of smoking!
